About me
Hello and Welcome!
My name is Melinda Filo, I am a Psychologist, Trauma Therapist and a Functional Medicine Practitioner.
I am committed to providing a warm and compassionate environment to help you navigate through life's challenges. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and offer support for a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, transition, bereavement, difficult family situations, substance misuse, domestic violence, sexual and physical abuse and more.
Since I first qualified in 2006, I trained in a few different modalities and always tailor a bespoke plan for all my clients and use the technique that is most suitable for their needs. I combine talking therapy with other modalities such as CBT, EMDR or arts therapy. I also use breath work, visual exercises and parts work to get to the root of the difficulties. I'm passionate about therapy and believe that everyone deserves healing.
I mainly work online but also offer face-to-face sessions in Shoreham-by-sea, UK.
